LED, Lighting UpgradeCrews from our Northern Virginia Office provided a Solar and LED sign conversion for Extended Stay Hotel in Fairfax, VA. LMI connected the solar panels to a battery bank, installed a new electrical line to the sign, and connected the sign to the battery bank. The conventional fluorescent lamps were replaced by energy efficient LED tubes. The solar panels absorb the sun’s light converting it into energy which is
stored by the batteries. The sign now uses solar panels converting light into electricity and runs
independently on the power provided by the sun.
