LED, Outdoor LightingCrews from our Northern Virginia, Richmond, & Linthicum offices combined efforts in installing a new high mast pole light at the I95 southbound Truck Rest Area in the Dumfries, Virginia. LMI replaced the existing high mast pole due to cracking found in the pole during an inspection. LMI supplied a new foundation, electrical line, pole, and LED fixtures. Using a crane LMI removed the old pole and HPS fixtures from the old foundation. The new pole which is approx. 110’ tall was then installed on its new foundation. The LED fixtures were installed on the new pole and raised into position. The pole uses a wench installed in the base to raise and lower the light fixture assembly for easy maintenance in the
future. The new high wattage LED lights provide excellent illumination for the truck rest area exit ramp and parking lot areas.
