18 Feb Prince George’s County, Peace Cross with 911 and World War II memorial
This month we were called upon to lend a hand in brightening up the Peace Cross Monument in Prince George’s county. Along with this task it was noticed that the 911 Bladensburg Memorial and World War II memorial were also lacking the luster that such important stamps in time should be sure to have for all to see.
Our State Highway team with no hesitation went right to work. The results, AMAZING!! With our TMA equipment, bucket trucks and the approval of the local inspector we moved with this project making it one for the books for sure!
Not only were we able to restore some existing lighting but we were able to add new lighting to a Memorial that has a home in the hearts of not only locals to this area but will touch the hearts of anyone who is traveling through. Remembering always that these moments in history will be forever in the hearts of us all and should be presented exactly that way.
