Richmond Flying Squirrels –
LMI was contracted by Musco to remove the existing lighting system at Diamond Stadium and relocate it to the new Richmond Flying Squirrels stadium. This project required extensive coordination while the new stadium was still in progress.
The work included lifting and removing four existing 120-foot poles from their foundations, transporting and reinstalling four 100-foot Musco poles, removing and reinstalling A/B light racks and ECEs, and reinstalling remote antennas, contactor cabinets, touchscreen controls, and control systems. LMI also used man lifts to access the stadium roof to remove and install fixtures and installed new Musco touchscreen controls with show lighting.
