UVA Scott Stadium –
LMI completed a lighting retrofit at Scott Stadium while working concurrently on multiple regional projects. This college football project required combined manpower from LMI’s Harmans, NOVA, and Richmond shops.
The work included removal of existing light rack equipment, installation of new Musco LED fixtures, crossarms, wiring harnesses, SCR driver enclosures, and installation and wiring of LCCs, ALIC, MCC, remote antennas, and touchscreen controls. Crews worked at heights up to 200 feet, welded new brackets onto poles for driver enclosures, and completed the project in time for the opening homecoming night game.
