While working in North Carolina on the Dean Smith Center project, LMI was asked to assist Musco with a lighting project at Wake Forest University’s football facility.
The scope included demolition and removal of existing HID fixtures and platforms, installation of new Musco crossarms, fixtures, and wiring harnesses, and development of an alternative installation method to reduce cost. LMI coordinated with Helicopter Applicators to use a helicopter to set fixture racks on the press box roof, avoiding the need for large cranes and road closures.
